[review]

First off, I was kinda stoked to see RK without having to drive my ass way up north, so that was all good!

The Venus club is like a "hole in the wall" type venue but it was nice to see the band that up close and personal...people were sitting on the floor or chillin' on the couch...nice set up, I must say, but it's not the best place for good sounds! Anyway, RK went up at around 7ish and opened with ALWAYS...I don't have the exact set list, but it was a great mix of old and NEW songs! A couple of girls requested "Steve" and at first Jenny didn't wanna play it 'cause they weren't sure if they remembered how, but eventually Blake took the mic and rocked out the song!

It was just a nice, chillin' show...I'm glad I went...If anyone else went, I hope you can write a better review, cause i just realized how bad mine is/was...

yeah, my friends and i were the ones who requested steve...that made our night. the show was great, i really liked how small the venue was. their new song was rad...i really enjoyed it...i forget what it was called though...something with chemical in the title...i don't remeber... anyway, the show was nice and relaxed...

I dont know much about the sound, it really wasnt that great. I mean the band did sound amazing as always but there was something lacking. It was so different from all the LA shows. Not having all these people crowd the stage area. it was nice to be able to sit and just enjoy everything.

I thought it was great when Jenny started busting up during the frug, and how she was having trouble getting back into it because she was laughing.

I was very happy to get to see them play here on my home turf, and not have to drive 938409238 hours to la to see them, altho it's always worth it.

sigh, i heart that band..
