Rilo Kiley is 'Ready to Go'

Rilo Kiley brought its resonating music back to the 15th Street Tavern on Monday night. Headlining a show with Stephen Hero and the Dinnermints, Rilo Kiley performed songs from its moving debut album everyone should own, Takeoffs and Landings.

Bandmembers Jenny Lewis, Blake Sennett, Pierre de Reeder, and Jason Boese arrived just in time to witness youths dry-humping inside the Virgin Megastore, although they maintain that "eggs blowtorch" — a breakfast dish confected by former Marine Sgt. Ned, Sr. — was the real reason for their return to Denver.

"That and we want to thank Dodge Guy," added Lewis, referring to the mechanic who fixed them up with a new gas tank for their van the last time they were in town.
