[review]

So the next day, we took the BART to Orinda and took a bus to Moraga. When the bus dropped us off, our journey began. We walked til we found St. Mary's Rd. and made our right turn. we thought, "maybe it's right here around the corner". But, no. We walked for a good 30 minutes at least on the darkest road i have ever been on. Now we were scared. I mean, dude, I can't fight, and Zeke rides bikes, so we were helpless. Roque didn't attend this one due to the fact that he had to work. okay, so we're walking up the hill for about 10 minutes. we find a library and ask this lady who was alone in the parking lot running to her car. we asked where the college was and very quickly, she answered, while trying to open her car door as fast as she could. I guess I would be scared too if two big Mexicans approached me in the dark like that. So we continued up the road to find the place. walked about another 20-25 minutes or so. when we finally found the place, we didnt bother looking for the official entrance, we took the scenic route through the boonies and Zeke stepped in a puddle leaving his shoe all wet. We couldn't see crap out there and were doing out best not to trip in a pothole and break an ankle. so we cut passed the baseball diamond and tennis court and ask a guy who attended the college where the LeFevre Theatre was. He was very nice and gave us good directions. And now, we have reached our destination.

We got there early enough to see RK do soundcheck. after everyone was done doing soundchecks, a very funny comedian came on, a talented singer/songwriter performed, the comedian came out again, and then RK hit the stage last. Once again, they rocked the house. At first though, we could barely hear Jenny's voice, but by the next song or two, the vocals had been turned up. They started off with one of their new songs and kicked ass again. But something really bothered me around the middle to the end of the show. People started getting up and leaving the show. This made me wanna go over and punch them in their noses. But, if I were to do that, I would miss RK, so I stayed seated. And, sadly, the show ended. So, we saw our favorite band 2 nights in a row and were extremely pumped. Then we realize, the long walk we have ahead of us. It would be at least an hour before we got to where we needed to get to on foot because we were so tired, having been living off of 3 hours of sleep. So not even 2 minutes into our walk back down the scary hill of Devil Mountain or whatever it is, a very nice sumaritan pulled over in his mustang, and offered us a ride. so we tell him that we just need a ride to the bus stop so we can catch a bus back to the bart. We should have just asked him for a ride back to the bart station.

We ended up sitting out at the bus stop waiting for the damn imaginary bus to come pick us up for 3 hours in freakin' 35 degree weather. It was at least 2 hours before we got up the nerve to call Roque to come pick us up. So, we call him, and he begins his journey. We felt really bad because he lives in Colma all the way across the bay. He got lost like 4 times trying to find us....it wasn't until 2:30 in the morning that we finally got back to Roque's house, and the concert ended before 10:30. We went trough all that just to see our most favoritest band, Rilo Kiley, and I must say, it was well worth it. I would do it all over again if I had to. Would you do the same? My best wishes to Rilo Kiley during the recording process of their new album. I hope they have a safe trip to Nebraska. We'll see them again April 14 at Los Gatos. Peace and love to all, and god bless.

p.s. Thanks to the guy that gave us a ride to the bus stop!! We are very grateful for your kindheartedness. Peace. The end.
