Highlight: They ended the set with "Promised Land", and yes I know
that's not what it's called on the album, but that's what Jenny had
on her setlist. She also had down "Chemical Stress" as opposed
to "Slumbering Heart". Blake said it was only the second time they'd
played it at a show, the other being in Nebraska. And although not
everyone in the audience knew the sing-along part, Blake Pierre &
Jason were loud enough, and the hand clapping made everyone in the
store feel included, and happy, and warm inside.

I took a "first-timer" to the show last night and after it was all
over she realized she'd gone to Jr. High w/ Jenny, so it was funny to
listen to them talk about old teachers and classmates.

I enjoy the small crowd. i think those are THE BEST RK shows. it's like your private little show in your room that we all dream about. Those are rare chances that you don't feel like a total idiot talking to them, and you can hog them all you want without feeling like you're "holding up the line." And i think it's real adorable when Blake goes, "we didn't think anyone was going to be here, thanks for coming!"
