Polar Bear review 11/14 by Josh...
I went to see Polar Bear tonight at the Dragonfly. They were awesome as usual. There was a good sized crowd. They are definitely gaining popularity around Los Angeles. They played about 6 or 7 songs, I am guessing. They closed with a song called Bodybag. They weren't handing out any CDs like the last show but someone at the show said that they will soon be giving away a CD with new as well as old songs on it. I
wouldn't be going out on a limb by saying that they are the best band in LA right now. I can't believe no labels want to sign them. Also one last note, in attendance at the show was none other than STP's Scott Weiland. He looked healthy and was drinking water. Good for him. Well that is all. Anyone who can check Polar Bear out and hasn't already should do so. They rock. You can sign up for their mailing list at the shows and they are really good about mailing flyers for upcoming shows.
